re-place intrigues the mind and emotion by juxtaposing contrasting visual elements; bodies, faces, personalities, buildings and neighborhoods. re-palce explore history of immigrants in Canada and between (1800 to 1900) and creates fictional narratives around them. The work explores patterns of human migrations along with a self-exploration of what it means to be part of an immigrant legacy, how and why people relocate, bringing their stories to a different land and what happened to those stories.
